This is an excerpt from my own essay for COP showing my research on the subject I am going to put in my animation about the disney princesses and their bodies.

"Disney’s artists were merely taking these descriptions and using ‘contemporary popular images of feminine beauty and youth’ to create a character that would be seen as beautiful as per her description. (Beu E. Haas L. Sells L, 1995, page 108)

As for how femininity is portrayed in movement and posture, ‘Disney’s early teenaged heroines were constructed on the bodies of professional dancers’ (Beu E. Haas L. Sells L, 1995, page 110) which would account for the slim athletic figure and great posture and elegance."

I plan to show these things by using an image of a celebrity to model the princess on and also a dancer.
